K, I had a number of problems with this review.

The main bit that annoyed me was the part where you said " Lara has everything from pistols to an assault rifle into her tiny backpack" Her pistols were in the holsters strapped to her legs and the secondary weapon strapped to her back. You could see it in the gameplay! If anything, it was more realistic than the older games where she could have ten different weapons into the backpack and all you could see were the pistols and maybe a bigger gun on her back.

I found the sonar map very handy, epecially underwater when it helped me find hidden or hard to find caves.

You said about the platforms that you can interact with being very linear and rigid. But if it were less obvious that a ledge was climable then people will be complaining that they didn't know what to do or where to go and only jumping blindly from climable ledge to possible climable ledge and getting frustrated everytime Lara fell to her death.

Really the only thing I had a problem with in this game was the combat which was mercifully few and far between. The story was poorly executed and the only people who would understand it are followers of the series. The clipping thing was annoying but I could get past that considering there were worse bugs in the TR series (even though there should be none to begin with).
The puzzles were fun to figure out and the levels were amazing to explore. For those who complained about the camera angle and the climbing being difficult, suck it up ye n00bs. It was pretty much like Prince of Persia which was a very succesful game. I think Tomb Raider is gettin slated way too harshly by critics cos of its history. There are worse games out there. Stop pickin on this one cos so much is expected of it.
